This painting is in generally good condition aside for some fine craquelure and slight paint separation throughout. There is a 2 inch horizontal crack in the lower left corner. The edges painting are somewhat uneven and appear to have flaked slightly, with the most significant loss in the upper left corner. Under UV; there appears to be scattered retouches inpainting throughout, most notably in the dark upper areas to the left and right of the Madonna figure, as well as in her dress.
