The canvas is lined. In generally good condition aside from slight frame abrasions, losses at edges, peeling to surface at edges. Scattered losses some with possible active flaking and possible restoration especially left of center/ below center/ above center and the bodies of the babies. Fine craquelure throughout. Inspection under reveals inpainting middle right 3 in. from edge, retouches on the bodies of both baby figures and under the female figure's face. Offered without a frame.
