Rev. Stephen Weston (1747-1830), antiquary and classical scholar, with his signature dated 1796 and morocco booklabel (most of his library was sold by Evans in 1827)

Catalogue Note
Salamanca (1478-1562) was a Spanish printer and publisher in Rome who worked with the Giunti, Antonio Blado and Antoine Lafréry. He also issued prints with the imprint "Ant. Sal. exc.", most of which were cut by Marcantonio Raimondi.
