Catalogue Note
A fine early manuscript of the first chorus from the group of three dating from 1954-1955, at a time when the young composer was still enrolled at the Moscow Conservatory. The three choruses set, respectively, texts by Alexander Prokofiev, Mikhail Isakovsky and Alexander Mashistov.
