181 and 97-113 pages, oblong 4to (23 x 32cm), engraved music, printed title, price on title altered in manuscript to 16 and 18 livres, strip of paper affixed to verso of title, obscuring apparently earlier book plate, pin holes to inner margins, eighteenth-century half calf, stamp of "M.r. De Courcy" to front free endpaper, some light damp-staining to lower margins [Hirsch, ii 767 ; BUC, p.871 ; dating after Hoboken, xvi 223 ; RISM R 139]

Les Fêtes d'Hébé was Rameau's second opera-ballet, first performed at the Paris Opéra on 21 May 1739; from 23 June it was given with revisions to the second entrée (the present score contains the revised scenes i-vi).
