2 pages, 8vo (c.18 x 13cm), printed stationery of Hotel Ritz, Paris, 23 April 1955, splitting at fold, edges lightly browned, together with copies of six typed letters with secretarial signatures, one to Porter about the request by La Vieille Russie to borrow an icon, with his reply, and Porter's letters about Heath's Standard French and English Dictionary, Christmas boxes and presents, news-clippings, exchanging news of friends, 6 pages, some with shorthand notes by Smith in pencil
