Catalogue Note
Rare: Haberkamp lists only seven copies (not including the present one) of Mozart's celebrated arrangement of the 1783 C-minor Fugue for two pianos, K.426, with its introductory Adagio, an original composition for strings of June 1788. The slightly more common first edition of K.426 by Hoffmeister preceded K.546 by only a few months in 1788.
