Catalogue Note
Early editions of two of Mozart's greatest piano concertos. The edition by Artaria of K.466 appeared only a few months after the first edition by André; the Simrock edition of K.503, long held to be the first edition, was advertised in the Frankfurter Staats-Ristretto on 14 July 1797, less than a month after the announcement of publication of Constanze Mozart's first edition.
