Provenance

Hélie Dufresnoy (1614-1698), arms and cipher on covers. Du Fresnoy had a library of a hundred classical texts bound in red morocco; for another of his bindings, almost identical to these ones, see Davis 462 in the British Library (The Henry Davis Gift no.143).
