Catalogue Note

Editio princeps of the Greek hexametrical text. In this edition the Latin translation is attributed not to Priscian but to Rhemnius Fannius, an attribution that was not followed in subsequent editions. The printer Giovanni Mazzocchi is best known for producing the first edition of Orlando Furioso in 1516.
