Chancery folio (287 x 198mm.), 88 leaves, a8 b-n6 o8, double column, 43 lines plus headline, gothic type, one 6-line initial with green and purple foliate decoration on a gold ground, 3- and 4-line initials in red and silver, contemporary German blind-stamped pigskin over wooden boards, metal clasp, lower board with pastedown of contemporary German printer's waste from a grammatical treatise, rebacked with vellum, m2_5 transposed, slight staining at end, inscription at head of first leaf erased, upper cover slightly warped, small tear to lower cover, rebacked
