Structurally sound, there is very minor surface dirt with a small possible crack measuring c.2in. up from the left hand side of the base. This excepting the work appears in very good overall condition. Housed on a 12 by 20cm. grey stone base. The original sandstone carving is held in the collection of the Kunsthalle der Stadt Bielefeld, Germany, with further posthumous casts within the collections of the Tate, London, Kettle's Yard, Cambridge, New South Wales Art Gallery, Australia and Musée d'Art Moderne, Paris.
