Condition

Original canvas. There is very minor surface dirt, with a raking craquelure visible to the canvas. This excepting the work appears in good overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals an isolated fleck of fluorescence and probable retouching to the bottom right hand extreme edge, most probably in line with a previous framing. Housed in a thick white wooden frame, behind glass. Unexamined out of frame. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
