Condition

Original canvas. There is slight flattening to some of the raised areas of impasto. There is an isolated spot of fine craquelure to the green pigment just to the right of the jug's spout, with a further fleck of reticulation to the bright yellow pigment appearing at the top of the front right fruit. This excepting the work appears in very good overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals three or four scattered flecks of fluorescence and retouchings to the upper right green quadrant. Housed in a thick, gilt wooden frame. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
