Condition
Original canvas, there is slight undulation in the top corners.
Ther surface is dirty with spots of staining and would benefit from a light clean. There are signs of a possible light blooming, most noticeable to the black pigment. Elsewhere there is fine reticulation to areas of the black and grey pigment, most prominent on the grey area on the centre right hand side. There is a minor surface scratch to the blue/black pigment towards the centre of the top edge, with a few further isolated scuffs elsewhere to the surface.
Ultraviolet light reveals areas of fluorescence which appear in keeping with the nature of the materials and do not suggest retouchings.
Housed in a thin strip white wooden frame.
