Condition

The sheet is not laid down, but is adhered to the mount via two hinge strips at the top edge, with a deckled right hand edge. There are two tiny pin holes visible; the first to the centre of the bottom edge, and the second to the extreme left hand lower edge. There is minor surface dirt and staining to the sheet, most visible in the lines of time staining surrounding the extreme edges and in place of the two hinges in the upper corners. This excepting the work appears in good overall condition. Housed in a thin metal strip frame, set within a linen mount, behind glass. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
