Condition
Original canvas. The canvas undulates slightly in the upper right corner.
There is very minor surface dirt, with a slight spot of isolated lifting and loss in the top left hand corner, with one or two very slight areas of abrasion to some of the raised areas of impasto. Elsewhere there is reticulation to the left arm of the cross in the upper right quadrant, and the green pigment in the lower right quadrant, as well as to isolated spots elsewhere. The surface is inherently uneven, in keeping with the artist's technique. This excepting the work appears in good overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouchings.
Float-mounted in a thin wooden box frame.
