Condition

The canvas appears structurally sound. There is very minor surface dirt, with corresponding flecks of studio detritus visible upon very close inspection. The work is float-mounted and there are areas of corresponding very slight loss to the canvas overlap area, with a further very slight area of faint craquelure to the extreme edge of the top right quadrant. This excepting the work appears in excellent overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching. Housed in a white and silver gilt frame, float-mounted.
