Condition
The work is in good condition overall, as is the canvas, which is clear and taut. There Indication of light wear and handling is evident around the edges of the painting inherent to the framing process, but the paint layers are well-preserved. Upon close observation reveals a pin-sized hole located at the center, along with gentle paint loss (upper right corner). Under ultraviolet light examination, there is evidence of restoration on the lower left and right corners (specifically in the white areas). Framed.

"[In] the eighties, he further elaborates on the theme of the river, calling it Orillas... in this period, his attention is focused almost exclusively on color; everything revolves round chromatic sensations and there is hardly any drawing, welft or profile. In these paintings, volumes, compositions and movements are archieved through the color of the water... as if his sole intention were to captrue the color of the river's continuous flow on the canvas".
