Condition
The work is in good condition overall, as is the silk, which is free from runs. Indication of light wear and handling is evident around the edges of the painting but the paint layers are well-preserved. Upon close observation, networks of soft craquelures are visible on areas with thick impastos, predominantly on the right register of the frame (the woman's white scarf). Under ultaviolet light inspection reveals no evidence of restoration. Framed.
