The medium of this work is oil on jute canvas. The work is in good condition overall. There are areas of soft craquelures, particularly on the lower register (flower bouquet), but the paint layers are well preserved and in stable condition. There are traces of minute brown liquid media accretion on the upper register (right eyebrow) and on the upper left quadrant (on the roof). There are also delicate abrasions located on the upper right margin. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals evidence of minor retouching on the temple (upper left), under the eye and lips, the figure's blouse (center), and in the background. Framed.
