Condition
Very good condition overall. The two red corners probably replaces. A few small breaks in the foliate leaves. The dark blue glass elements may be later replacements.

Catalogue Note
Cet élément de vitrail au dessin très dynamique est caractéristique du vitrail au jaune d'argent anglais du XVème siècle. On retrouve, en effet, le visage au nez aquilin et les boucles de cheveux virevoltantes sur des fragments conservés au Victoria & Albert Museum de Londres (inv C 187-1927) et au Metropolitan Museum of Arts de New York (inv. 41.170.84). La frise d'acanthes grasses et le fond bleu à décor floral sont également à rapprocher de l'art anglais, comme par exemple les vitraux provenant de la chapelle de Hampton Court conservés au Victoria & Albert Museum (inv. C 237-1931).
