Condition
Very good condition overall with remains of polychromy overall. The Virgin's right hand is missing; there is a crack to her left wrist. Some lacks to the Virgin's crown. The Child's right arm, left hand and left foot missing. Remains of original polychromy all over, the red paint of the Virgin's dress as well as her hairband appear to have been refreshed. One vertical crack to the side of the throne, a few fixing holes and an old metal fixation to the backside of the throne, a few fine vertical hairline fissures and lacks at several places. Very attractive and fine sculpture.

Catalogue Note
