Very good condition overall. The rim has been slightly retouched. Firing defects visible by several stripes in God's mandorla.

Catalogue Note
Dieu le Père est représenté dans un nimbe nuageux où apparaissent les têtes et les ailes d'anges, selon un motif traditionnel fréquent, par exemple, chez Léonard Limousin (vers 1505-1577). Le revers est orné d'un portrait d'empereur antique, probablement Vespasien, inspiré par le recueil de gravures Les Douze Césars, de Marcantonio Raimondi (vers 1480-1534), qui circulait largement en Europe au début du XVIème siècle.
