Condition

This work is in good condition overall. There's evidence of light wear and handling towards the edges and fine and scattered craquelure throughout, particularly in the gray-painted portion in the center. There are faint stretcher bar impressions along the top, bottom and right sides. Some light and unobtrusive accretions in the black painted rectangles are visible under close inspection. The white paint has yellowed slightly in spots. Under ultraviolet light inspection, it appears that this work has benefited from some minor retouching towards the extreme edges. Framed.
