Condition
The sheet, thickly woven, appears sound and has not been laid down. A few media marks about the surface and the paint appears thin with possile spots of foxing in some areas.
No signs of retouching under UV light.
Held under glass in a gilt plaster frame with a beige mount.

Owned by Mr J. E. Dennis, Dendraspis won the Waterloo Cup in 1909, the annual coursing event which took place from 1836-2005 at Great Altcar, Lancashire.
