Natural pearl and diamond stick pin, late 19th century

Set with a baroque natural pearl of light grey tint measuring approximately 13.75 x 10.00 x 9.55mm, embellished with millegrain-set single-cut and rose diamonds, length approximately 85mm.

According to the SSEF report, the pearl measuring approximately 13.75 x 10.00 x 9.55 mm and weighing 8.564 carats (34.26 grains), is natural, saltwater, with no indications of artificial colour modification, light grey colour with purple and green overtones; excellent skin and lustre. Diamonds bright and lively. Metal with normal signs of wear consistent with age and wear, some signs of tarnish to the reverse. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 5 grams.
