Of graduated fringe design, featuring cushion- and pear-shaped sapphires, framed and embellished with marquise-, pear-shaped, and brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 405mm, signed Winston, mark for Jacques Timey, fitted case by Harry Winston.
Condition
Signed WINSTON, maker's mark. Stamped PT 950 for platinum. According to the SSEF report, the sapphires measure from approximately 8.60 x 8.20 x 4.95 mm to approximately 17.45 x 9.45 x 5.45 mm and are calculated to weigh between approximately 3.30 to approximately 7.60 carat with a total of approximately 120 carat, the majority of the 22 sapphires are of Ceylon origin, a few of Burmese origin, all with no indications of heating; for further information please refer to the report; very well matched in colour, blue with a medium strong saturation, clean to the naked eye, only few crystal inclusions visible under 10x magnification, minor scratches and nicks. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 75.00 - 85.00 carats, on average of G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Clasp secure, safety catch below. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 184 grams.
