Description

Comprising: a necklace and a bracelet, the necklace designed as a series of carved emeralds and sapphires, accented with cabochon rubies and brilliant-cut diamonds, some of yellowish tint, length approximately 350mm, the bracelet of matching design, length approximately 170mm; each signed Cartier, numbered, French assay and maker's marks, two later cases stamped Cartier.

Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain rubies of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin will be required before import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Please note that the diamonds of yellow and orangey tints have not been tested for natural colour. Safety clasp on necklace signed Cartier, numbered 06954, clasp on bracelet signed Cartier Paris, numbered R11090, both pieces with maker's marks. Both stamped with French assay marks and 750 for 18 carat gold. Coloured stones very well matched, with typical crystal inclusions, few scratches, nicks and chips. Diamonds of nearly colourless to yellow and orangey tints. Clasps secure, safety catch below on necklace, safety catch to the side on bracelet. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 105 and 57 grams.
