Description

Centring on a step-cut emerald within a surround of circular-cut diamonds, detachable brooch pin.
Condition
Mounted in silver and gold. According to the SSEF report the emerald, measuring approximately 13.55 x 13.45 x 7.00 mm and weighing approximately 8.9 carats is of Colombian origin, with a minor amount of oil in fissures, it is green of medium strong saturation, for further information please refer to the report; emerald almost clean to the naked eye, few inclusions visible under close inspection, few nicks and abrasions, one smaller chip to the table facet. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 19.50 - 20.50 carats, on average of G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Brooch mounting detachable; pendant fitting. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 17 grams.
