Gem set and diamond demi-parure, Mauboussin, 1950s

Comprising: a brooch of floral design set with carved rubies, emeralds and sapphires, accented with circular-cut rubies, emeralds, and diamonds, and a pair of ear clips, each signed Mauboussin, numbered, French assay marks, ear clips with maker's marks.

Brooch: Signed Mauboussin and numbered 13074 to reverse of stem. Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold and platinum. Carved rubies, emeralds and sapphires well matched with characteristic inclusions, good condition. Total diamond weight approximately 2.00-2.50 carats, stones bright and lively with mixed colours and clarities. Sliding safety catch. Ear clips: Signed Mauboussin and numbered 13235. Both stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold and platinum to the reverse. Rubies, emeralds and sapphires well matched with characteristic inclusions, good condition. Total diamond weight approximately 1.50-2.00 carats, stones bright and lively with mixed colours and clarities. All pieces with signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 60 grams.
