The cushion-shaped ruby weighing 4.42 carats, set between epaulet-shaped diamonds, size 52, signed Bulgari, Italian assay mark.

Condition

This lot is not offered with an authentication letter from Bulgari, as stated in the printed catalogued. The SSEF report states that the ruby is of Burmese origin, from Mogok. Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece contains a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore cannot be imported into the US. Please contact the jewellery department for further information or see our Important Notices. Stamped Pt 950 for platinum and 750 Or for 18 carat gold. Signed Bulgari, Made in Italy, engraved 4.42, referring to the size of the ruby. According to the SSEF, report the ruby measures approximately 10.37 x 9.18 x 4.53 mm, with typical crystal inclusions, few scratches and nicks; please refer to the SSEF report for further information. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 1.00 carat, G colour, VS clarity. Signs of little wear to the metal, few scratches consistent with use. In good condition.
