The chain link bracelet supporting twelve charms including a castle, a cross, a wheelbarrow, a house, a pine tree, a lantern, a Native American, an Eiffel Tower, a bird, a fruit basket, a couple, and an elephant, variously-set with gemstones including rubies, sapphire, emeralds, diamonds and onyx, a few small gemstones deficient, length approximately 200mm, French assay marks. The wristwatch composed of a square dial applied with Arabic numeral indicators, the bracelet millegrain-set with single-cut diamonds, the case set with carré- and similarly cut diamonds, mechanical movement, length approximately 155mm, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain rubies of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin will be required before import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Charm bracelet: Stamped with French assay marks for platinum. Five small diamonds deficient (four rose diamonds from pine tree charm, one single-cut diamond from bird charm), one carved emerald from fruit basket deficient, one small circular-cut ruby deficient from flowering wheelbarrow. The chain link bracelet set with circular-, single-cut, and baguette diamonds, the charms set with variously-cut diamonds and coloured gemstones. Coloured gemstones include rubies, sapphire, emeralds, and onyx, all with abrasions throughout visible under 10x magnification. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 6.00 - 8.00 carats, H-J colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Clasp secure. Normal signs of wear to the metal, scratches consistent with age and wear. In good condition. Wristwatch: French assay marks for platinum on the bracelet and for 18 carat gold on the clasp fitting. Dial unsigned, with darkened signs of ageing. The case numbered 10, the interior with stamped with French assay mark for platinum, French maker's mark 'D&N' with the symbol of a sickle at the centre. The mechanical movement not signed and not in working order at the time of cataloguing, please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee future working condition of watches. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 1.50 - 2.00 carats, bright and lively. Clasp secure, safety chain. Normal signs of wear to the metal, scratches consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
