Composed of gold foliate scroll work, set to the centre with a step-cut emerald and embellished with similarly and hexagonal-cut emeralds, natural pearls, rose diamonds, and black enamel, suspending three detachable pampilles, French assay and partial maker's marks.

Condition

Stamped with French assay marks for gold and partial French maker's mark, possibly 'J.D'. One slightly cream pearl measuring approximately 5.20 x 5.85 x 4.00mm, slightly baroque button-shaped and half-drilled, was tested at SSEF and was found to be natural, saltwater (the top most pearl on the central detachable pampille). Remaining pearls of similar body colour, with good skin and lustre. Emeralds well matched in colour with good transparency, with typical crystal inclusions, some surface reaching; minor abrasions visible under x10 magnification. Black enamel in very good condition. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with age and use. In good condition.
