Designed as an ancient Chinese theatrical mask, the hair composed of lines of seed pearls, signed René Boivin, French assay marks, fitted case stamped René Boivin.

Condition

Brooch in need of repair, pearls will be restrung at Sotheby's expense prior to delivery to the buyer. Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Signed René Boivin. Seed pearls of varying body colours and sizes, central pearl with light rosé overtones, good lustre. Some tarnish and abrasions to mount consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
