One bracelet designed as a band of gold mesh links, decorated with five oval onyx and rose diamond blackamoor cameos habillĂ©, framed with a gold border highlighted with cushion-shaped rubies, diamond necklace motif deficient on one cameo, length approximately 170mm, French assay and maker's marks; the other bracelet designed as a band of interwoven gold rope work, length approximately 195mm.

Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain rubies of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin will be required before import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. The cameo bracelet stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold and a French maker's mark, 'F' over two indistinct 'A's. The cameos position along bracelet not fixed and can be adjusted left and right. Smaller four cameos with screw fittings to the reverse, screws deficient. Onyx in good condition with a few thin fracture lines. Rubies well matched in colour with some minor nicks and abrasions. Rose diamond decorated necklace motif deficient on one cameo. Clasp secure, safety catch. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with age. In good condition. Gold rope work bracelet stamped 750 and 18K for 18 carat gold. Clasp secure with two safety catches. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with use, light tarnish to clasp fittings, solder marks to one safety catch. In good condition.
