JADEITE 'HUAIGU' AND DIAMOND PENDANT NECKLACE

The translucent jadeite huaigu of emerald green colour, decorated to the centre with a brilliant-cut diamond, to a stylised surmount set with baguette and trilliant diamonds, accompanied by a black cord, completed by a diamond-set clasp, the diamonds together weighing approximately 1.50 carats, mounted in 18 karat white gold, length approximately 660mm.

Colour and Clarity: According to Jadeite Jade Testing Certificate, the jadeite "huaigu" is natural, Type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the certificate for details. In our opinion, the jadeite "huaigu" is translucent, of vivid emerald green colour, with minor patches of darker green. Upon illumination, there are cloud inclusions, not noticeable in normal lighting. Diamonds together weighing approximately 1.50 carats are about H to I colours, mostly VS clarity. Condition: Karat white gold mount, with signs of wear and surface scratches. The black rope is moderately worn. Overall in good condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment.
