Description
- chrysoberyl, diamond, platinum
Centring on a circular-cut cabochon cat's-eye chrysoberyl weighing 12.48 carats, flanked on each side by a shield-shaped diamond, mounted in platinum. Ring size: 8¾
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to SSEF report, the cat's-eye chrysoberyl is natural, of Ceylon origin, with no indication of any treatment. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the cat's-eye chrysoberyl is of medium deep, yellowish green colour, semi-transparent clarity, with distinct chatoyancy (cat's-eye effect) upon spot lighting. Under 10x loupe and transmitted lighting, there are a few minor fingerprints on side, not seen to naked eyes or under normal lighting. Two diamonds together weighing approximately 0.90 carat, are about G to H colours, VS to SI1 clarity.
Condition: This ring is offered without reserve. Platinum ring mount, in very good condition.
