JADEITE 'SAILING BOAT' AND DIAMOND PENDANT

Set to the centre with a translucent jadeite of intense emerald green colour carved as a sailing boat, symbolising success and peace, decorated by tapered baguette and brilliant-cut diamonds together weighing approximately 2.40 carats, within a lattice-work surround, mounted in 18 karat white gold and yellow gold, brooch fitting.

Colour and Clarity: According to the Jadeite Jade Testing Certificate, the carved jadeite plaque is natural, Type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the certificate for details. In our opinion, the jadeite plaque is translucent, of intense emerald green colour. Upon illumination, there are some clouds, but not seen in normal lighting. Diamonds together weighing approximately 2.40 carats, H to I colours, mostly VS clarity. Condition: With brooch fitting, signs of normal wear to the metal, otherwise in very good condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment.
