PINK OPAL AND DIAMOND NECKLACE AND PAIR OF PENDENT EARRINGS, Van Cleef & Arpels

The necklace composed of twenty-seven pink opal beads measuring approximately 10.15mm, decorated to the front with floral motifs set with marquise-, pear-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds, completed by a brilliant-cut diamond-set ball clasp, length approximately 350mm; and pair of pendent earrings, each suspending on a drop-shaped pink opal measuring approximately 21.25 x 13.20mm, surmounted by a spherical brilliant-cut diamond-set top, clip fittings; the diamonds altogether weighing approximately 7.00 carats, mounted in 18 karat white gold, signed and numbered JC012320 and ML5870 respectively. Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the pink opals on necklace are well matched, of medium pink colour. Upon 10X magnification, there are some natural growth patterns. Opals on earclips are of similar colour and surface pattern. The diamonds are about D to E colour, VVS to VS clarity. All are signed and numbered. Condition: Fine workmanship, this necklace is purportedly a custom order by VCA, accompanied by the original design sketch of necklace. The set appears almost unused, in mint condition.
