Description
- SAPPHIRE, DIAMOND, PLATINUM
Centring on an oval sapphire weighing approximately 62.20 carats, within a ballerina-setting of tapered baguette diamonds together weighing approximately 6.75 carats, mounted in platinum. Ring size: 7
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to GIA report, the sapphire is natural, Madagascar origin, with indications of heating. Please refer to the report for details. The exact weight of this sapphire is 62.20 carats. In our opinion, the sapphire is of medium deep, intense blue colour, eye clean. Upon 10x loupe, the sapphire is quite clean with only a few tiny fingerprints close to the surface, but not seen to naked eyes. Diamonds are about G to H colours, VVS to VS clarity.
Condition: GIA cert states that this sapphire “has been repaired”, most likely due to some glue present on prongs which is to hold this huge gemstone. Platinum ring mount, with signs of normal wear, otherwise in very good condition.
