Publisher's navy cloth gilt, top edges gilt, blue paper dust-jackets, printed paper spine labels; a few minor marginal tears to dust-jackets. Together with: original shipping crate,  crate stenciled with title and set number on short sides; crate lid broken, with fragments loosely laid in.

A pristine, unopened set of the Stormfield Edition, copy no. 554 of 1,024 sets, of which 1,000 were for sale. In addition to Clemens's writings, the set includes his autobiography as well as his biography and letters edited by Albert Bigelow Paine.
