An episode of the American Civil War. New York: D. Appleton, 1895, 8vo (183 x 118mm.), first edition, second issue, with shorter title-page and "congratulated" (p.225) in broken type, printed on wove paper, binding as above with top edges gilt, tears to free endpapers, title-page and first page of text with small tears at foot of gutter; together in modern chemise and morocco-backed slipcase
