Catalogue Note
Rare in the Virtue binding. "The reason for this rarity is, of course, that, shortly after the book was published, James Virtue went out of general publishing altogether and disposed of his copyrights to other firms. ... [B]efore he had time to sell many copies, he disposed of the copyright and was consequently debarred from putting the balance of his printed sheets upon the market" (Sadleir, p.291).
