Browne) in volume 1, 20 wood-engraved plates by Miss Taylor in volume 2, with 2 pages of publisher's advertisements at end of volume 1 (not described by Sadleir), original crimson patterned cloth blocked on front and back with decorative frame in blind, spine lettered and decorated in gilt, pale yellow endpapers, hinges expertly repaired, occasional slight spotting, slight wear to joints and extremities
