Condition

The canvas is unlined and well-stretched. The work appears to be varnished. Craquelure is present throughout the work; the paint layer appears to be stable overall. Stretcher bar marks are visible along the four edges. Light brown specks are visible through the sky and mountains. Under ultraviolet inspection, intermittent areas of in-painting are scattered along the right edge and in the lower right quadrant along the bottom edge. An area of in-painting is present in the center of the green field, two-inches above the boat and in the upper right quadrant. Overall, this work is in very good condition.
