Condition
This canvas has been lined using wax as an adhesive, which is easily reversible. The paint layer is
cleaned and varnished. Under ultraviolet light, a few retouches can be seen that in the upper right corner, but this deft and rapid piece of painting is devoid of any retouching for the most part. Any thinness that can be seen, such as that in the saddle of the horse, is most likely intentional. It is recommended that the work be hung as is.
