Ruby, pink diamond and diamond ring, 'Caresse D'Orchidées', Cartier

Designed as an orchid, set at the centre with an oval ruby, the petals and shank pavé-set with brilliant-cut pink and near colourless diamonds, size J, signed Cartier and numbered, partial French assay marks, accompanied by case and box stamped Cartier.

Stamped with partial French assay marks and Pt 950 for platinum. Signed Cartier. Numbered 49 90776A. Band additionally inscribed 'Patti & Robin 2006'. Ruby measuring approximately 6.3 x 5.6 x 3.4mm, calculated to weigh approximately 1.01 carats, medium purplish red, good saturation, typical inclusions visible under magnification. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 2.50 - 3.00 carats, several diamonds of pink hue, majority of diamonds estimated colour G-I, estimated clarity vs. Slight abrasions to mount consistent with wear. Accompanied by case and box, both stamped Cartier. Accompanied by Cartier certificate of authenticity, numbered 90776A. In good condition.
