Condition

Surface abrasion, fading and some losses to pigment overall, as visible in catalogue illustration. Apparent water staining at center and left. Sew marks, thread and mounting fragments present at upper and lower borders. Scattered stains and wear to fabric. Inscription on verso. Exhibited in temporary frame.
