Condition
Picture surface is in generally good condition. The paper not covered with gouache has darkened from being attached to an acidic mounting board. Minor foxing at the extreme lower left edge. Top edge shows some paper loss, a tear, some abrasions at the left and right sides and transparent staining near the center. Also some bubbling of media and a scuff at top center edge and a poorly repaired tear at the top edge at right.
The sheet is somewhat unevenly trimmed. It has been mounted onto a piece of paperboard. There are three losses along the center top edge with accompanying nicks and tears. These have all been glued down to the paperboard. The sheet is toned but the colors are still reasonably bright. In overall good condition.
